What is it that reminds of your youth and the great outdoors? I can imagine it was outdoor games such as tag, chase, and hide and seek. Perhaps you spent hours hula-hooping or jumping rope. Did you climb trees and make obstacle courses to explore?
There are plenty of activities for your family to do together to strengthen muscles and develop skills. Let’s look at a few.
1. Take a nature walk or hike. Get started by filling a backpack with a few necessary gadgets and supplies such as:
• Binoculars
• Water
• Picnic
• First aid kit
• Camera
• Compass
• Collection tools
• Wet wipes
2. Go on an overnight camping trip. First timers may want to start with a backyard excursion. It will be just as much fun and you will have easy access to all the comforts of home. Get started by setting up a tent and filling it with the following supplies:
• Sleeping bags
• Flashlights
• Cards
• Snacks
• Games
• Pillows
• Stuffed animals
• Camp chairs
